  Scam. They have very deceptive booking procedures. I had a medical emergency and gave a 15 day notice to cancel. 15 day notice is very fair and very reasonable. Stole 600 dollars from me. Claimed cancellation policy is 45 days. This is not disclosed on booking. This is not disclosed on their website. Email goes direct to Spam. No mention of medical emergencies anywhere. They need your credit card to hold unit and then steal 35% with no disclosure or approval. They hide behind voicemail. Stay far far away.

  Friendly staff, beautiful location,comfortable accommodations, great golf, 5 min to airport . New shopping center is 2 minutes away with supermarket , liquor store, Tim Horton's,DQ,and the best pizza n Kelowna.

  Other than that, I think the lodge was decent. I like the nice modern interior design of the room. However, I do think it is a bit far from the city core (about 20 minute drive from Kelowna downtown).

  We went to Kelowna for a 3 day international business event, Our suite was clean, had a cool view, had to take photos as soon as we got in ! Treated ourselves to a game of golf, scenic undulating course, lost lots of balls ! The surroundings at the clubhouse and this lodge have some pretty view points, the desk staff gave us some good advise on what to see in the area. We wanted to cook as our suite had a kitchen. They told us about the new Nesters supermarket a short drive down the hill, got supplies and drinks from the liquor store next door and cooked 3 times ! Tried the restaurant at clubhouse, it was nice to sit outside, pretty good food while watching golfers putt and practice. Went to 2 wineries that were close, tasted some unique wines, bought 4 bottles ! Lots to do here, Can see why so many people like this city. We will be back and would stay here again as the prices are reasonable. I hope we get transferred here for work !

  We arrived late (8:30 PM), so the office was closed. We had to get in touch with the manager. He did not seem too apologetic, but he did get someone out to us to clean up, after exchanging about 4 calls to different employees. We checked in the lodge on Saturday, and apparently they had the room cleaned on Monday. I think the manager or whoever should have checked the room on Saturday to make sure that the room was cleaned and ready for another guest to come in.

  When my family walked into our room, we were shocked and dismayed by what we witnessed. The double sized bed was not made. The sheets were unchanged. There was a used towel on the kitchenette counter. In the bathroom, there were 2 used towels on the floor and the trash can still had dirty paper towel in it.

  I only had a brief stay earlier this year at Borgata, but my experience was very positive. I was visiting BC for the first time by myself from Saskatchewan and had no idea where I could stay for a couple of months in order to sort things out, so I was quite fortunate to find this arrangement which ended up working out really well for me.

  I may have loved Borgata Lodge but I will never know. Very poor business practice. Ripping off people under medical distress is unfair and just not right.
